Georges Lemmen has never been a well known Belgian artist, perhaps because his style is hard to define and changes over the lapse of time. While his early works include typical characteristics of both Pointillism and Neo-Impressionism, his latter work for the Belgian Art Nouveau scene is more appreciated.
