| Interesting |
As a young man Maurice de Vlaminck had earned his money by being a professional cyclist and violinist in an orchestra. That is the reason why he only started creating paintings when he was almost 30 years old.
The subjects of Maurice de Vlaminck's paintings are often not very interesting nor new, but his style of painting definately was, with the arbitrary use of the four colours red, green, yellow and blue.
