Pietro Perugino was a member of the Umbrian school, a 15th and 16th century school located in and around Perugia.
Although Pietro Perugino painted, like his fellow Renaissance artists, biblical scenes, it is very much doubted that Perugino believed in God. Perugino openly doubted the soul's immortality, which was back then almost unforgivable.
