Victor Vasarely is considered as the founding father of Op Art. Although his images might not seem that impressive today, notice that back then there were no computers helping him.
In 1930 Victor Vassarely left Hungary and settled in Paris, where he initially supported himself as a commercial artist but continued to do his own work.
