Today’s featured painting (although it’s really a print) is Single Pear by Mae Buzz. The first line of her profile says “I believe that art should be fun and affordable for everyone!” and that is exactly what she has to offer. The pear is available in different sizes, but I think it would look best if it’s rather big. Have a look at Mae Buzz’ profile. And she also has her own blog.

Today’s painting of the day is by Zhang Dao. The dimensions of this painting are 40″ x 30″ (102 x 76 cm).

Finally another unknown painting of the day, maybe I should start calling it the unknown painting of the whenever I feel like it. The dimensions of this painting are 11″ x 14″ (28 x 36 cm). The painting is for sale here. Richard Wallich also has his own site.

First there was Maryse Casol who was annoying me with her spammy internet marketing, and now there’s a new player who is trying to enter this market. This “marketer” was spamming all the “Most Expensive Paintings Ever”-pages on the internet (of which I own a few), with his comment that there’s new most expensive artist ever. Sure thing, if actually one of his paintings sold for the € 150 000 000 they are asking.
I really hate this kind of borderline marketing and don’t want anyone to be fooled by this. Good thing Google will soon rank me pretty good for the name Dogmael Damien, just as well as it did with Maryse Casol.

Today I had some time to wander around Ebay again which is where I found the artist Nancy Poucher. She uses pastels which really seem to suit the nautical scenes she depicts. This painting is called Sailboat Reflections II and measures 5 x 7 inches (13 x 18 cm). And ofcourse, here’s the website from Nancy Poucher.

Our unknown painting of the day is “Frogs” by Marjolein Bos. It measures 14 x 14 inches (36 x 36 cm). The concept of her blog is interesting: if people like a painting they can place a bid. Then Marjolein decides whether she accepts it or not. And ofcourse here’s the link to Marjolein Bos’ blog (mainly in Dutch).

Today’s featured unknown artist is B. Sasik. The painting “Neon City” measures 20 ” x 20 ” (50 x 50cm). And here’s her Etsy shop.

Anton Heyboer – Chicken
73 x 62 cm (29 ” x 24″)
Actually the Dutch painter Anton Heyboer who passed away in 2005 isn’t an unknown painter but he would’ve been to most people (including me), so he’s our unknown artist of the day. Anton Heyboer’s Website.

Today’s featured unknown painting is Note To Self by Karin Jurick. This painting measures 12″ x 9″ (30 x 24 cm). And a link to Karin Jurick’s blog.
