The problem with museums is the complete overload of information you receive. It is just impossible to thoroughly enjoy and appreciate most works in one visit. They should add a one-painting-only-ticket.

This sculpture by contemporary artist Jeff Koons sold for about $ 3.500.000 in the Christie’s auction of postmodern and contemporary art. I also found this pink diamond from the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.

The Chinese version of the Scream ? I know absolutely nothing about Eastern art but this seems to be a rather famous Chinese contemporary artist.

Could this painting be any more disturbing

Congratulations to the, since 1935 deceased, painter Paul Signac who has reached a new personal sales record. The painting Cassis, Cap Canaille sold in a Christie’s auction for € 9.600.000.
