Even kitsch evolves. I actually love the contrast that art directors try to create between old and contemporary art.

The English paper The Guardian wrote about the current exhibition of Jeff Koons in the Palais de Versailles:

“An exhibition of sculptor Jeff Koons’s work at Versailles is causing a rumpus among French traditionalists.”

Finally ! Art only evolves when the traditionalists are outraged.

Congratulations to “Buurtschap Noordhoek” for winning the biggest Belgian flower corso last weekend. Congratulations also to my terrific girlfriend who designed the winning item “Sandstorm” which depicts 3 horses running from an approaching sandstorm. The last horse is caught in the storm which creates a wonderful color play. You will see more of her work soon…
