Wonderful ! The gods and goddesses of today, the ones we adore and worship are no longer kings (like Tutankhamun), big writers, philosophers but they are TV stars, sports players and music stars. I could write 1000 pages of why nobody should envy or worship Oprah Winfrey but those to whom it may concern would not be reached anyway. Just read “Our Culture, What’s left of It” by Theodore Dalrymple.
