Group of Seven
A big update for our Canadian visitors (and for art lovers from other countries as well): The Group of Seven. The Group of Seven was a group of Canadian painters inspired by the European impressionists. The eight artists we added (one of whom was not officially a member but was closely related) are Franklin Carmichael, Lawren Harris, Alexander Young Jackson, Frank Johnston, Arthur Lismer, J.E.H. MacDonald, Tom Thomson and Fred Varley.
