Record price for ‘Card Players’ by Cezanne by Qatar Royal Family
One of Paul Cezanne’s most-loved paintings has sold for USD 250 million, currently the highest price ever paid for a work of art.
The Card Players was bought by the Gulf kingdom of Qatar. The ruling royal family beat two of the world’s top art dealers to win the masterpiece.
