Though it may not be the best example of Impressionism, 'Soleil Levant' is the one work everyone
would refer to if they were asked to define Impressionism.

Soleil Levant depicts the harbour of Le Havre and was first displayed during an independent art
display called Salon des Refusés (Salon of the Rejects).
